Every one of our members who submits weeks has a different perspective on life. Some tend to be creative, others focus more on the documentary side. Viktor Sulc, a new member in the Week of Life projekt, evidently inclines to the second option. In his first set named simply 'First', Viktor decided to present his life in black and white form and gave us a clear signal that documentary photography is his desired style. In the descriptions under his week, he mentioned that he postponed photographing his first week of life until he buys a new camera. In retrosepct, he made a good decision in selecting the perfect camera for his documentary style. Look for yourself.

Kajbin, a mysterious author with a mysterious name, has served us his second week with the name Good Morning Baby…This is My Life. It falls to the category of weeks that have strayed from the path of common life documentary principles and thanks to elaborated editing of individual photographs Kajbin has created an interesting art piece with hints of how the author lives. Some admire his work, others reject it and so it sparked off a vigorous debate, rare to the common set. This week is indeed on the borderline, yet such weeks are extremely beneficial to the project and not only from the visual perspective, but because they let us see how people react and perceive life – their own as well as lives of others.
