Children are spontaneous creatures and especially the little ones. And even though they require our 110% attention, the times spent in their vicinity eventually become the nicest moments in life and we often come back to them in all kinds of memories and stories that proudly put a smile on our face. Barbara Havlíková is one to talk, who with her photographs introduced us to her maternity leave for the fourth time already and has showed us there is no time for boredom alongside her younglings. Her set is very playful, full of jaunty and trouble-free moments captured by a clever photographic eye.

Within the Week of Life project, content was, is and always will be the number one core element. Some may think that form is the most important, since we gladly enjoy the way or style each week is portrayed in, but that is just not true, as form only plays a secondary role. This is one of the reasons why Karel Bína’s week 02 affected us so much, since it totally reflects the philosophy of the project and stands as proof in this important matter of content being at the top of the hierarchy. His set of photos equally represents photographic and documentary parts, without any empty spaces that would distort the overall feeling and impression of the whole week. He managed to record the flow of individual days and humorously created and ‘spiced up’ what could be called a clean documentary about a random week in his life.
