Waiting for the winter 2009
Pasi Heiskanen gives us an opportunity to have a look into one week of his life in clean lines, without any facade. His week is a week of a man living in Finland, devoted to his work and despite living alone surely not suffering from loneliness, thanks to the presence of his furry darlings. Pasi's set demonstrates that a perfectly photographed set can indeed often allow us to learn a lot about the author and in a way enter their mind for a while.

Samoa. Such a remote country and such an amazing feeling that Week of Life reached even such distances. With her week, Nadya Domashneva enabled us to have a peek into the lives of people living in a country many of us perceive as exotic. A country, which is distinguished by sun, exotic fruit, beautiful flowers and high air humidity, as many photographs show. For many of us, Samoa is a tourist destination, however Nadya lives here and shares her life with us.

The birth of a baby is one of the most wonderful things life has to offer. Here at WoL, we've already witnessed several weeks documenting such a happy moment. However, Žaneta Malá's first week called Big expectations is slightly different. The first time in Week of Life's history, the mother herself captured the first moments of her child in this world. There are sets that we remember for a long time and this one is certainly one of them. From all of us at WoL we wish the mother as well as the baby boy Samuel Malý all the best.
