Frantisek Vrba is another in the line of Week of Life members who stayed away from the project for some time only to come back and continue documenting their life once again. His weeks are always interesting and it certainly isn’t enough to just go day by day. You need to look through them individually, but be careful, you might find yourself stunned. The fact that Frantisek likes black and white photography is evident and it can be seen in almost every image. His sixth week in his B&W collection is different only for its slight touch of red in some photographs. Once again, the author managed to pull off several perfect images, suitable for display in large format.

Trochu legrace
Emilie Mrazikova has been a member of the project for more than 2 years. In 2010, she documented 13 weeks of her life and then stayed mute for a whole year. Today, she occasionally submits a week and has 16 weeks altogether, which is a respectable number. And that last one with the name A little bit of fun is the Editor’s Choice for today. Similar to her previous weeks, Emilie documented her everyday life, which is not at all a routine. We can see a clear attention to detail and together with other interesting images, she put together a well balanced set.

Madagaskar- týden I
The Week of Life project keeps welcoming new members and new countries. Recently, we have welcomed Indonesia or Israel. Now, we are happy to announce that a 44 th country has joined – Switzerland. Dana L. is the first representative of this beautiful alpine country, who entered the project not documenting her home, typical to new members, but with a week from another exciting country, Madagascar. The images are overflowing with the exotic atmosphere typical to this country. It’s a place sought out by photographers and a destination that leaves many of us envious. We hope today’s selection will be motivation enough and an impulse for Dana to capture the country where she lives, known for its nature, chocolate or watches.

week again
Week by week, he documented his life. Many of us enjoyed his sets and followed how he lives. Suddenly, he stopped photographing and remained silent for some time. The one we speak of is no other than Miroslav Dusanek, who returned to Week of Life after three months of inactivity with his new week called ‘Week again’. Miroslav always had something to offer in his images and this week keeps to that tradition. All we can hope for at the moment is that Miroslav will remain active after this Editor's Choice selecion and continue supplying us with his weeks.

40 - Ciao Venezia
We all have our patterns and everyday habits in our lives, but once in a while, we spice up the stereotype with something extraordinary and the flavor is usually traveling. Aneta Spevakova has added this flavor to her life recently and traveled out to see the famous carnival in the Italian city of Venice to create her 40 th week in the project. The name says it all – 40 - Ciao Venezia. According to her photographs, visiting the carnival is an amazing experience. The beginning of the week is all about the atmosphere in Venice and it finishes off with some great images from back home, typical to Aneta’s weeks. Several members have documented this festival in the history of the project, so it seems positive recommendations would be in order.
