Finišujeme aneb trocha smutku
In its entire history, the Week of Life project has seen many married couples document their family life from different angles. It is usually the case that one or the other photographs just one week or more but with long breaks after joining their partner. There is however an exception and that is Jana Kasparkova. She started documenting their exciting family life along with her husband Kamil and hasn't stopped since, giving us the opportunity to not only see how their son is growing each day, but also how they spend each day of their life in marriage. Today, it is Jana's 27th week and it is rightfully selected for the Editor's Choice. Will she go on in the footsteps of her husband Kamil and document a full year of the Kasparek family? Only time will tell.

5. WOL aneb po roce opět zde!
Katerina Hladka has registered to the Week of Life project a long time ago. During the time she remained quiet in the project, hundreds of weeks were added but she still remained inactive. Her set called 5th WoL aka back again after a year! tells us she’s back and it is totally worth it. Her week is full of self-portraits, details the author found near her, but mostly it is interesting and playful. She captured this week on a cell-phone camera, with some of the pictures in an additional frame, which may or may not be disruptive to some. In any case, the week is great and imaginative collection of photos made by a young lady and we can only hope she will disclose more of her life in the future.

Viktor Sulc entered the Week of Life project rather recently. However, he has been one of the most active authors ever since and adds a week to his profile regularly. His latest week called Home yet again is already his tenth and only proves what we mentioned in his previous selection for the Editor’s Choice. Viktor loves black and white photography, the dominant player in his weeks, but most importantly, he has the talent to capture the right image at the right moment, something that is extremely important in documentary photography. He does not hope to make creative images, but rather focuses on the story and content, making his quality weeks gather more and more regular visitors over time.

In this time in history, most humans are able to drive some sort of a motor vehicle. Not all drivers are the same however. Pavel Paulus is a truck driver and his journeys usually take thousands of kilometers. He travels to places most of us have never even heard of, despite the fact that Russia is closer than most of the locations in Southern Europe. The reputation of the east hasn't been very positive for some time now, so at least we have this unique chance to inspect this region through the perspective of a truck driver documenting his life in the Week of Life project. We wish Pavel a safe journey and many more accident-free kilometers on the road.

...prvoadventný...
Today, we have picked a woman living in Slovakia for the Editor’s Choice, already her second selection in her Week of Life history. Recently, she has been among the most contributing members in the project with her weeks filled with love and emotions. We are sure that many of you have shortlisted her weeks and added the name Stefania Spisakova to your favorites. Her week named …First Advent… is apart from the already mentioned love and emotions enriched by Advent atmosphere and the trip to Budapest, one of the most beautiful and camera-friendly cities in Europe. This is definitely a rich week worth seeing.
