Týden II. - Chorvatsky
Every year the media is filled with news concerning thousands of Czech citizens enjoying their holidays by the sea. The favorite destination seems to be Croatia and it is evident from the pictures we all bring back home and share them with others. Kristyna Padrtova did the same and named her week accordingly - Croatian. She put together a set based on how she spent her time and showed another perspective on how she enjoyed her holidays. Swimming in the sea, sightseeing around the cities, visiting restaurants, searching out entertainment...- these are some of the activities we can witness in this week and start thinking what to pack for our new trip to visit the seaside, be it in a few days or next year. Surely, a camera will be on the list.

School
Recently, the Editor's Choice is overflowing with newcomers and their sets. This trend is definitely a positive sign for the project, since with every new member, we have the chance to see a new and unique perspective on life. Today, we have focused our attention on yet another newcomer's week. The author of this set is Michaela Egli, who as a student simply named her week 'School'. The first thing you notice in Michaela's week is her great work with black and white colors, as well as the creative aspect of her images. She perfectly depicts the atmosphere of her student life in Prague, together with her free time activities and private matters.

Třetí týden v sádře
Zdenek Kamrla used to have a calm and relaxed life, when one day, he set out to enjoy a tennis match, had an accident and broke his leg. With your leg in a cast, you suddenly realize that your life has changed dramatically and you struggle to find ways to pass time. A single day seems like eternity and all you can think of is to find something to amuse yourself. Zdenek picked up a camera and decided to pass time by documenting his life with crutches. This Editor's Choice is already his third week and it seems that just like the cast on his leg, his camera has become a necessity in his life. No one should exploit the pain and misfortune of others. However, this accident has brought something positive, not only to Zdenek's life. It has brought the project a new member with a great set of photos and we all wish him good luck and may the cast come off as soon as possible.

všetko dobre dopadlo
Today’s Editor’s Choice is in its way very unique. Every Tuesday and Friday, we try to select a week which somehow stands out from the recent batch of sets and this time, it was the uniqueness of Stefania Spisakova’s week called ‘It all turned out well‘ that caught our attention. Stefania gives us a dose of intense emotions, feelings and love for those closest to her. Recently her daughter Natalie suffered some serious health problems and Stefania’s will to photograph suddenly faded. Fortunately, Natalie’s health has dramatically improved and Stefania returned to document her life through Week of Life. We hope to see more weeks filled with smiles, as this one was, and wish Natalie all the best.

šťastné dny obyčejného mého JÁ
Every person feels at ease around his or her loved ones and together they share treasured moments, no matter if they are common or extraordinary. Karla Eggrová has presented such a week as her first in the Week of Life project and named it 'Happy days of the common ME'. The photos are covered with a grey tone, but despite the absence of color, Karla shows her life is packed with unique moments and filled with emotions. Her technique is good, her descriptions are even better, but what we value the most is the fact that the vast amount of her photos capture people.
